Clare Folgate
Clare is a family law specialist. After graduating from the University of Manchester in 1990 and after completing her professional exams, Clare qualified as a solicitor in 1993, initially specialising in banking and property disputes. Before relocating to Wadenhoe in 2009, Clare worked for two large legal firms in Cambridge where she undertook all aspects of family law. She became a partner at JJ Solicitors LLP in 2011.
Clare specialises exclusively in private family law with particular emphasis on the financial aspects of relationship breakdown. She also deals with cohabitation disputes, relationship agreements and private law children. She has many years’ experience of dealing with high value and complex financial remedy cases, disputes between civil partners and cohabitees, and she regularly advises clients on issues relating to their children. Clare is married with two adult children. She is a season ticket holder at Wolverhampton Wanderers FC and watches her team home and away. Clare is also an avid theatre goer and enjoys spending time with her family and friends.

Ginny Oakley
Ginny is our Practice Manager and usually the first person clients speak to when they approach JJ Solicitors LLP for advice. As well as managing the office, Ginny assists Clare Folgate with her cases and will remain a key point of contact throughout.
Before joining JJ Solicitors LLP in 2007, Ginny worked as a team supervisor at Weatherbys where she helped set up the British Horse Database.
Ginny lives with her partner and and has two adult children. She enjoys walking with her dog and spending time with family and friends.

Katie Langford
Katie is our Practice Administrator and legal secretary. She joined the firm in 2015 and is an integral part of the team, assisting Clare and Ginny.
Before joining JJ Solicitors LLP, Katie undertook various administrative roles for both small and large institutions. She has also worked as a classroom assistant with responsibility for children with special educational needs.
In her spare time, Katie enjoys touring the UK and Europe in her motorhome with her husband. She has two grown up children and lives in rural Northamptonshire.
